What You Doing Wednesday Week 186

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your week is going well!

The weather has been awful this week.
It's been cold, gales, hail and sleet.
However Benji has loved every minute of it.

He is changing so much!
His face is looking a bit older each day.

I am only working on one thing this week.
I have started a pincushion.
It's a sheep pincushion.
I can't wait for it to be finished.

I'm afraid it won't be
finished this week.

I broke our kitchen sink.
Which is funny cause I never really use it.
Hubby is replacing it but the house is in
a real state with having to move everything out
of the kitchen.

I am so glad I married a man that can.
I had a dad that couldn't.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work

  1. Dogs are such a treasure, it's so strange when they start looking old. Our old black lab girl Jet had puppies at the age of 4 and immediately went grey round the edges. I looked at her in December and suddenly realised she was white EVERYWHERE at 13. Even in the middle of her coat where she was still very black, she was speckled with white. He certainly looks full of energy though :D I think when they're older you have the benefit of lots of lovely years of good relationship to go on, and they're less manic and more companionable. I hope you continue to enjoy him :)

    1. Having the puppies must have taken something out of her. I know how hard it is having one son never mind having to birth 4 puppies and them wanting your attention all the time. I bet she looked beautiful!. He is really full of energy and very cheeky. He knows the rules but as soon as your back is turned he will disobey them. We are making the most of Benji as we aren't sure he'll make old bones. We are surprised he has lasted as long as he has. When he was little he caught an ear infection. The vet treated badly and the infection got into his brain. He now has fits. Our new vet is brilliant but there is no way to stop them and the medication would make his life horrible so we just take each day as it comes. I will enjoy him. I can't imagine a life without a dog. If you count the ones at my mum and dads he is my 8th dog. Hubby said we can't have another one but we'll see ;-)

    1. Thank you! The sink went in wonderfully and I can't stop polishing it. Benji loves running! He is sulking today as we aren't going out. I'll hopefully get more of the pincushion made next week. Thanks for your message!
