What You Doing Wednesday Week 183

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!

Winter has most certainly arrived in

the UK.

We've gone from really warm temperatures

and a lot of rain, to freezing temperatures.

The wind is biting and the snow is on it's way.

Benji is still having fun no matter how cold it is.

These are his new friends that he made at the weekend.

He had so much fun chasing the younger one that is out

of the water.

Her name is daisy and her older partner gets fed up of

her as she wants to play constantly.

Benji came along and kept her going for ages!

Benji isn't on the picture as he hates water.

He likes puddles and mud but won't go near

any other water. 

I have working hard this week.

This picture I am going to you might not seem exciting

to you but to me I am super excited.

This is an old shirt of my husbands.

I have been practicing cutting with my rotary cutter.

I have never used one before.

To anyone else but for me it's big learning something new.

Once I had cut my squares I then moved

onto my new sewing machine.

Sqqqquuueee!!!

I managed to sew something.

I did make a few mistakes but I am learning.

I started with my hubbies shirt so that

if anything went wrong it wouldn't matter.

I've got loads cut so I am going to practice a little

everyday.

As you can see from the pictures I didn't start easy.

I just happened to pick a linen shirt.

It also has design manufactured into it

so sometimes the sewn designs get caught.

I am also working on a wrap.

It's called the Lacy Gossamer Soft Wrap

It's a lovely pattern for using with 

James Brett

Moonlight Sonata yarn.

My William I hasn't made much progress.

I'll hopefully get more worked on him

next week.

I may try and spend sometime on him tomorrow.

This awful picture is a selfie of me.

I was having a bad day and decided to see how bad.

It was as awful as I thought.

Hopefully I will enough energy to let hubby die

my hair this weekend.

I may even try to use some energy on styling my hair.
