This book cover really gives you a fantastic
idea of what is held inside.
If you love birds and you love knitting
then you will thoroughly love this book!

There are over 30 feathered friends held within.
I am AMAZED how accurate this birds look.
Each one has it's own individual personality.

The book starts with all the techniques
you will use throughout the book.
As well as clear instructions there
are also clear photo's so you can easily
understand what you need to do.
I love the different materials she uses
with the knitting to create them.
Glass pebbles are used to add weight to some
of the birds to make them stable.
Beads, wire, felt & chenille are used
to get the right look.

All of the birds are created by working them flat
on two needles and them shaping them as you
sew them together.

I love the little notes at the start of each
pattern.
They share something of Nicky's personality.

This is an amazing book and I love the little
things included with the birds like the fish for
the Osprey and the nest and eggs.
I also love the fact that you get patterns
with some for the adults and the fledglings.
The cygnet's are to die for.

The different birds that are included in the book are;

Mallards - Adult Male, Adult Female & Duckling
Song Thrush
Blue Tit
Canada Goose
Blackbirds - Adult & Fledgling
Mute Swans - Adult & Cygnet
Barn Owl - Adult & Owlet

Lapwing
Puffin
Collared Dove
Magpie
Oystercatcher
Kingfisher
Hoopoe
Pheasant
Snowy Owl
Woodpecker
Robin
Sparrow
Seagull
Raven
Tufted Duck
Eggs & Nests

Wouldn't it be fantastic to have
them all over your house and to get
everyone to go bird watching and spotting.

Brilliant book with brilliant designs.
