What You Doing Wednesday Week 167

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!

Sorry this post is a little later than normal.

The week is running away with me.

It seems like it's been such a wonderful whirl wind!

I have a secret......

we went away last week to Trearddur Bay

in Anglesey, Wales.

It was fantastic!!!!

It was so relaxing and such good fun.

Red Monster got to try horse riding for the 1st time.

He loved it.

The horses name is Jingo.

They went out for an hour long hack. 

We spent most of the time exploring the beaches, rock pools & caves :-)

Doesn't this piece of seaweed look like a tree.

It's hardwork being a Benji.

He rang round so much when we were out that

he spent most of the time asleep when we came back in.

I couldn't go across the rock pools

but I had fun watching Red Monster & his dad

go off and have fun.

This is the main pebble beach near where we were staying.

It's got loads of seaweed, rock pools, pebbles and shells.

The water was so clear.

Can you see the little fish?

He was actually bright blue.

The weather was brilliant.

This house is known as the haunted house.

I bet it's beautiful inside but

Red Monster thought it looked scary

on the outside.

Benji didn't mind the drive to go on holiday :-)

Red Monster had fun playing in the sand

Climbing over the rocks and exploring

They had such fun seeing all the sea life and exploring.

And what a way to finish the day with an ice-cream

The 1st day we were there Red Monster wanted to just go on the beach.

Dogs weren't allowed on this section so we stayed on the patch

and sat watching him.

We kept telling him to pull his trousers up if he wanted to paddle.

Boys will be boys!

He ended up soaking wet and covered in sand.

He had such good fun I really didn't mind!

Some of the glass, wood and other bits we collected on the beach.

All the shells we managed to collect through the week.

Ryan found this big rock and thought it looked like

a spaceship.

I said I thought it looked like a skull.

Just some of the pebbles we collected.

Each one is different and I love spending

hours looking through them.

Red Monster went back to school yesterday.

He wasn't happy the holidays had finished

but he had a good day anyway.

I really want to find more time to work on this washcloth

I am making a cape.

I'll give you more details next week.

Not much progress on my bag

This is hopefully going to turn into a christmas owl.
