What You Doing Wednesday Week 160

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!

The time seems to be running away with me.

There is so much going on and it just feels

like I don't have the time and energy

to do what I want to at the moment.

Red Monster is going to be 9 in a few weeks time.

I can't believe this is his last year in single figures.

He is growing up so much.

I am rushing to make sure I have everything

for his birthday and his party.

He is having a water party at his Nana's house.

I save myself some energy and buy the gift bags

ready made as well as the pass the parcel.

Hubby has taken the day off the day before

to get the paddling pools etc. ready.

We have loads of water pistols

and other things to have watery fun.

If the weather isn't good we have some

traditional fun games to play with the kids.

Twister, tiddly winks, blow football

and others.

Hubby has been working hard in the garden to get

it looking nice.

My parents are away so they are coming for a

BBQ when they get back.

This will be the first time everyone has been for

a BBQ since he has done all the work.

He just needs to take the old BBQ to the tip

(the bottom is rusted out)

and spray his other BBQ so it looks nicer.

I only have pictures of my blanket this week.

I am hoping things will settle down so that

I can have some time and energy to get

some things made.

As you can see it's coming along nicely.

I am really enjoying it.

It's nice to have a project that I can work on

when I am tired.

I make a lot of mistakes when my brain fog is

affecting me.

It's nice to have a project where it doesn't

matter as much.

I am really enjoying making it.

I have also signed up for a CAL.

I don't normally join in CAL's because

I can't guarantee that I will have the energy

to make it.

However this one I liked so much I decided

that I would make it no matter how long it takes me.

 

The thing I love about it the most is you can buy the pack

so all the yarn you will need is sent to you.

You can also buy different sized blankets.

I've chosen the large large throw but you can also make

the small throw, single bed blanket or double bed.

I am reading a couple of books at the moment

but I'm running out of time to complete

the post so I'll update you next week.
