What You Doing Wednesday Week 156

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!

The sun has stayed around again :-).

However it's not going to be around today.

It's okay as the plants could do with the water.

Hubby has been working really hard on the garden.

It's looking so much better :-)

The water fountain is fixed.

When we first got Benji he chewed through all the wires & tubing.

We got a replacement solar panel and pump

and it's working again.

I'm trying to talk hubby into using the bricks to build a pizza oven.

This is the bed in front of the conservatory.

The big plant on the left is a thornless blackberry.

It's amazing the amount we get each year from it.

Underneath it is a chives and garlic chives.

To  the right we have a mint and some carnations.

The green thing in the corner is our water butt.

It's so nice going out in the garden now it's looking

so good.

We still have some work left on it but hopefully

if the weather isn't too bad this weekend we

will be able to do some more!

Wouldn't you know it I got sick.

It's only a chest infection but I wish it would

go away.

I'll hopefully be fine after a good rest.

It's funny I can cope with the sick bit

no problem infact I am used to it.

The only thing that gets to me is the

way it changes my mood.

I'm going to spend my time on the glider

in the conservatory watching the birds

on the bird table.

Now onto what I am making.

After a few false starts I am making some

progress on my owl.

I think the shape is coming out better now

so hopefully I'll be able to make more progress now.

I am also making some baskets for the yarn bombing event.

The organiser has made some hot air balloons and

asked if I could make some baskets for them.

I haven't started a new book yet

so I'll have to let you know next week.
