International Rainbow Mandala

Increase. Increase by placing 2 sc in 1 stitch.

Decrease. Hook through 1st stitch, yarn over hook, pull hook through, hook
through next stitch, yarn over hook, pull through. Yarn over hook and through
all the loops.

Mandala
Using 5 mm (H) hook and red yarn.
Ch 2
Round 1) 6 hdc inc 2nd ch from hook, ss to join (6)
Round 2) Ch 2, 1 hdc in same st as ss, Ch 3, miss 1 st, *2 hdc, Ch 3, miss 1 st, * x 2, ss to top of Ch 2, finish
Change to Orange yarn
Round 3) Join yarn in any Ch 3 space, (Ch 2, 4 hdc) in the Ch 3 space, * (Ch 2, 5 hdc) in next ch 3 space* x 2, Ch 2, join with a ss to the top of the Ch 2, finish
Change to Yellow
Round 4) Join yarn in any Ch 2 space, (Ch 3, 2 dc) in the Ch 2 space, 5 hdc, *(3 dc in ch 2 space), 5 hdc * x 2, ss to join to the top of the ch 2.
Change to Green
Round 5) Join yarn in any st, Ch 2, 1 hdc in same st, ch 2, miss 1 st, *1 hdc inc, ch 1, miss 1 st* around, join with ss to the top of the Ch 2.
Change to Blue
Round 6) Join yarn in any Ch 1 space, (Ch 2, 2 hdc) in ch 1 space, *Ch 2, miss 2 st, (3 hdc, in ch 1 space) * repeat around, Ch 2 miss 2 st, ss to top of the Ch 2.
Change to Indigo
Round 7) Join yarn in any Ch 2 space, (Ch 2, 2 hdc in ch 2 space), *3 sc, (3 hdc in next ch 2 space) * around, 3 sc, ss to top of the Ch 2 to join.
Change to Violet
Round 8) Join yarn anywhere, Ch 2, 1 hdc in next st, hdc around, ss to top of Ch 2 to join
Change to Red
Round 9) Join yarn anywhere, Ch 2, 1 hdc in nxt st, *Ch 1, miss 1 st, 2 hdc* repeat around, ss to top of ch 2 to join.
Change to Orange
Round 10) Join in Ch 1 space, (Ch 2, 2 hdc) in ch 1 space, *Ch 1, (3 hdc in Ch 1 space)* repeat around, Ch 1, join with ss to the top of ch 2 to join.
Change to Yellow
Round 11) Join in Ch 1 space, (Ch 3, 1 dc) in ch 1 space, 3 hdc, (2 dc in ch 1 space)* around, 3 hdc, join with ss to the top of the Ch 2 to join.
Change to Green
Round 12) Join anywhere, Ch 2, 1 hdc in same st, *Ch 1, miss 2 st, 1 hdc inc* around, Ch 1, miss 2 st, ss to the top of Ch 2 to join.
Change to Blue
Round 13) Join to any Ch 1 space, (Ch 2, 2 hdc in Ch 1 space), Ch 1 miss st *(3 hdc in ch 1 space), Ch 1, miss 1 st,* around, ss to the top of the Ch 2 to join.
Change to Indigo
Round 14) Join yarn to any Ch 1 space, Ch 2 in ch 1 space, 3 sc, *(1 hdc in ch 1 space), 3 sc* around, ss to the top of the Ch 2 to join.
Change to Violet
Round 15) Join yarn to any hdc, ch 1 (counts as ss), 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 ss, * 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 ss* around, join with ss to 1st ch, finish.
