I've Made Friday Week 147

Good Morning everyone!
I hope your week is going well.
I hope you are looking forward to the weekend.

Little Red has been back at school
and things are starting to get back to normal.
The sun has been shinning again
and the world seems a nicer place when it does.

I've decided to start avoiding the news as much.
There is so much horror in the world today
that I feel I can't do anything to change
that I think for me I'm going to have to give it a break.
It's strange I love watching true murder stories
(as long as they don't involve kids or animals)
but the horror that is on the news at the moment
is really starting to affect me.
It just seems the world isn't as nice a place anymore.

On a positive note. I'm finding things
in my daily life to feel positive about more and more.
As a person who suffers from CFS (M.E.) and fibromyaglia
the heaviness and darkness can take over.
I'm trying a new tatic and trying to find as much
things to be happy about as possible.
Even stopping for 30 seconds to watch the magpie
building his first nest over the road is making
me smile so much.
When the winds were really strong it kept falling
to pieces but now the weather is nice it's
getting bigger and looking more like a proper nest.
He looks so proud of himself each time he makes
it a little bigger.

I'm afraid I haven't actually got
anything finished this week.
With getting back off holiday and Little Red
having tons going on my things have taken
2nd place.
Plus it was my mums birthday on Tuesday
so she came to our house for tea
and hubby made us all roast chicken dinner :-).

This weeks finish that I do have is actually
Little Red's.
He had to make (as part of his homework)
a scene about Easter.
He had to research the Easter story,
pick a part of it and make a scene
or make a story board about it.
He decided he would make the scene out of Lego.

He decided to make the scene where when they go to the cave
the rock has been rolled away and Jesus isn't inside.
He has the crosses on the hill to show
that he was crucified on the cross.

I don't think he did quite a good job.
I helped a little with the cave
but he mostly did it himself.

I still haven't got any reads for you this week
either.  I've started one so I should have more
details for you on Wednesday and I might
get it read for next week.

Now it's time for linky love.
Please feel free to share anything you've made.
