What You Doing Wednesday Week 144

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!

Spring has sprung and the sun has been shining :-).

I love the sunshine.

We've had a bit of a hectic week so far.

I decided to contact a charity

to see if they could do a collection.

They said yes and are coming today.

This has meant a house spring clean.

Little Red doesn't like giving things away

but he has finally agreed to.

As I can't do much I've been the one sorting

the electrical items etc. It's meant I can sit

down and organize things whilst hubby

runs around sorting everything else out.

We literally had a complete room of stuff

to giveaway.

I love the fact that things we aren't using

can be given to a charity and it means

it's going to go to someone who will use it.

We had a meeting about Little Red

and his school this week.

He has lost quite a bit of confidence since

he has started doing writing for himself.

This is common with dyslexic children.

His vocabulary is way beyond his reading

and writing skills.

It also takes a long time for him to write things

down and it doesn't look as neat.

School will work with him and they are going

to keep an eye on him at playtimes

as it's affecting his confidence there as well

which has meant he is getting pushed around

by a number of children. 

It's positive in a lot of ways because school

is working more with us now.

Now onto what I am making this week;

I'm making a dog picture for Little Red's Easter card.

He chose it out of the Cross Stitcher 

magazine from April 2004.

I can't wait to show you it finished.

I'm really enjoying cross-stitch at the moment.

This is going to be my first Knitting pattern that I have designed.

I think I'm going to call it Making Waves Summer Bag.

It's made using #Adriafil #Kimera Yarn.
