Granny Squares are such a fun crochet item to work with.
This book takes them and brings the granny square
upto date.

Everything from a basic granny square to more complicated
patterns are used to create and amazing array of projects.

The patterns are split into sections;

  • Spring
  • Summer
  • Autumn
  • Winter

Included in the patterns are many different items;
  • Bracelet
  • Phone Case
  • Pencil Case
  • Dollie Wraps
  • Shawl
  • Throw
  • Tablecloth
  • Curtain
  • Stole
  • Shopping bag
  • Pillow
  • Poncho
  • Miniskirt
  • Brooch
  • Throw's
  • Satchel
  • Box
  • Scarf
  • Wrist Warmers

All the patterns are in chart format.
This did take me out of my comfort zone
but also pushed me passed my fear.
I was pleasantly surprised how easy
it was to read the chart once I understood
the basics.

The book includes a basic crochet course
so even beginners can give the projects a go.
But they may need a little help with the charts.

I decided to make this beautiful bracelet
in the Spring section.

I love how it came out and it was a really easy pattern to follow.
Little Red said it's so nice I have to save it till Easter
so I can give it to myself as a present.
