The Weekend Box ~ Product Review

Weekend box trans no labels
The Weekend Box

You may ask what the weekend box is.
This is a box that is sent to you for children between the ages of 3 - 6 years old.
It's a box full of fun activities to keep your child entertained.
Not only that it's delivered to your door.

We were lucky enough to be sent
the "Chinese New Year" activity box
to try.

The box comes jam packed with everything to get you started.
You may have to purchase a few food items for one of the activities
but everything is included in the pack.

The pack comes with information sheets.
This give you little pieces of information
and all the instructions you will need to
complete the activity.

The first pack was for making a Chinese Drum

The 2nd is to make a Chinese Dragon

The 3rd is to make a Chinese Lantern

And last is to make fortune cookies

You can choose what you want to make,
in any order and at anytime.

We decided to start with the Chinese Dragon

First we had to design the head and the tail of the Dragon.
Paint was included to paint your dragon
but Little Red just wanted pencil scales on his.

Googly eyes were supplied which Little Red
enjoyed adding onto the face.

Then it was onto to cutting the paper to size

And then folding it to make the dragon's body

Last but not least we added the body and the holding sticks
to finish off the dragon.

The dragon was really easy to make and Little Red loves
us making things together.

We also had loads of fun making the Chinese drum.

I really enjoy the weekend box.
Each of the activities is varied, teaches different skills
and they also now supply a fact sheet that teaches
your kid/s different things.
Everything is included from powder paint to double sided sticking tape.
The activities are easy to follow and easy to understand.
You also get stickers so as your child completes
each task then can add the sticker.
It's great motivation, fun to do and easy enough
for everyone to take part.
It's nice to spend time as a family having fun and making things.
The weekend box is a big hit in our house!

Why not give them a try!
Not only that if you use the code;
SUSAN63
You get to try your first box for FREE
