Slow Cooker Recipes for Beginners ~ Book Review & Giveaway

Slow Cooker Recipes for Beginners
Publisher: Antares Press
Publication Date: 21 August 2014

Slow Cooker Recipes is a brilliant book for someone who wants
creative modern fun with the ease of using a slow cooker.

I love my slow cooker.
It means that hubby can quickly put something together before work
and then we have a delicious meal to eat in the evening.

The brilliant thing about this book is it has the most amazing
recipes that will keep you eating wonderful and nutritious meals.

You can make any course, including deserts.
This surprised me the most.

The book has been written for an American market
and I did have some issues getting some of the ingredients.
However it's well worth doing as the flavors and meals
are fantastic.

We decided to make the Tarragon Chicken.
We've never tried tarragon before and were
pleasantly surprised by the taste.

The recipe was very easy to follow
and was so quick to set-up and then serve.
The chicken tasted beautiful and it would be a recipe
that we would try again.

You will be amazed at the diversity and the different
ideas for using a slow cooker.
We've always just made stews but we'll be making a lot
more of the recipes from this book.

The book includes dishes such as Mexican Meatballs and Greek Mushrooms.
Or do you want to reduce the amount of meat you eat?
The Slow Cooker Recipes for Beginners book contains a wealth of vegetarian recipes such as Ratatouille or Veggie Chili created especially for you.
Let the slow cooker take care of dessert. Chocolate Mousse
and Cheesecake are just two of the amazing desserts included.

I received this book to review.
However all opinions expressed are my own.
