What You Doing Wednesday Week 134

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your week is going well!

The cold wind has arrived in the UK.
It's bitterly cold so we are staying curled up in front
of the fire.

I love being able to have a real fire.
I can't imagine living in a house without one now.
It makes you feel so much comfort.
Hubby loves building them :-).

Little Red is loving playing on Minecraft at the moment.
He has a fantastic imagination so it's a fantastic
outlet for him.

I didn't make any New Years resolutions
this year but I did have in mind some things
I'd like to do.
One of them was to spend more time on
the Craftsy courses I have purchased.
So this week I started on two of them.

The first one I am working is
Knit Lab in the round.
The first Item you make is a headband.
You start of learning to use multiple needles.
I was all fingers and thumbs but I'm
really enjoying it.

The second is One-Skein Accessories
Chevron Collection
You make 3 different accessories
learning different methods etc. as you go.
The first is a cowl.
Considering I haven't used circular needles
before I am really enjoying it.
I've found that I love metal needles for this.

I'm also going to try and finish
my Oceans Scarf
by Avondale Patterns

I'm listening to White Nights by Ann Cleeves.
I'm at the exciting ending......
It's a murder mystery.
I know I do love a good murder.
I love Ann's style of writing.
I love the pictures I can make in my head.
This story is set in the Shetland Islands
so has an amazing setting as well
as lots of twists and turns.
Things get brought in at different times
to make the story even more exciting.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work

    1. Thanks. It's even better in person. It has blue foil running through it that catches the light. I must work on it some more!
