I've Made Friday Week 132

Good Morning everyone!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I hope you all had a fantastic time.
I went to bed early and then spent an hour listening to all
the fireworks at midnight.
I know such an exciting life I lead ;-)

As promised pictures of my latest design.
It's made out of  Sierra Andina yarn by Adriafil.

I wasn't sure whether to call it;
"Inspired by a Kiss Beret"
or
"Burgundy Kiss Beret"
or do you have an idea?

Hubby and son go back to work and school
next week so I'll be typing the pattern
and the other patterns up then.

I haven't quite finished the Infinity scarf yet
so you'll have to check that out next week.

It is the New Year but I don't make any
actual resolutions.
I do have some thoughts about what I would like to do.
I don't put pressure on myself to achieve them
as I never know how my health is going to be.
  • I would like to complete all my Craftsy Courses
  • Design some more patterns
  • Go easier on myself
  • Accept and ask for help
  •  Spin my yarn

I have learnt a lot about myself and made a lot of changes for the better.
A lot of time in life we are too hard on ourselves.
Being ill has taught me to take something positive out of everything you do.
Take time to do the little things as these add up to so much more.
I  might not be able to do things like I used to do.
This disability has forced me out of work but that doesn't
mean I can't achieve anything.
I might be only to do one little thing, I might make mistakes
but the only person who puts pressure on me is me.
This blog is a testament to show me that things I can do
can still matter.
I wish there was a job out there that would let me work
when I am up in pain at 3am and let me sleep all day
but in the meantime I can still feel like I'm putting something
out there by sharing everything with you.
You help me everyday into being a better me.
THANKS!!!!

Now it's time for linky love.

  1. I find the beret adorable. I think that "inspired by a kiss" would be a good name because not everyone will make it out of the same color and might end up with a green "burgundy kiss beret." Sounds strange...;)

    1. Thanks for your comment. I'm going to go with your choice. Your right it would be better without the colour in it. Thanks! Sue :-)
