They are super fluffy,
super cuddly
and have the most cute waistcoat on.
It's a beautiful felt with sheep skin on the inside.
He now sits next to me whilst I'm crocheting and knitting.
He keeps me company and make me smile.

Bonton is well worth checking out.
They have the most amazing children's clothes, toys
and so much more.
Everything is of a fantastic quality!

I received the rabbit as a prize of a giveaway.

I've Made Friday Week 136

Good Morning everyone!
I hope your week is going well.

The snow finally arrived
for Little Red.
Unfortunately Little Red only
got to see it on his way to school.
They keep the children in the classes
if it snows and it had gone by the time it came home.

I know it isn't a lot but to a little boy
who has been wanting to see it snow all winter
it's exactly what he wanted.
It's meant to be snowing again today so hopefully
he'll get to play in some this weekend.

This week I've had a huge making week.
There have been some stressful
family stuff going on.
To stop me from focusing on it and making
my illnesses worse I have been resting
and making.
It's amazing what a difference it can make on
your health and stress levels.

The hat is from the free crochet pattern;
I used Boutique Unforgettable Red Heart Yarn - Dragonfly

For the scarf I learnt to Broomstick Lace

I have had great fun testing some new
brilliant patterns for my friend Mel

I love patterns for Bookmarks.
They are so useful and aren't they so cute.
They are ideal for sewers and non sewers.
They are brilliant to make with kids.
You can find them on Craftsy;

I will be doing a full review of them soon but if you can't wait
why not buy the pattern for yourself.
They would make brilliant gifts for valentines or easter.

I finished my cowl from the Craftsy Course

This is from the Craftsy One Skein Accessories
Course.
It's not bad considering I am a new knitter
and it's my first time knitting in the round.

Don't comment on the sewing!
I decided to make some hand warmers
with it being so cold.
The monsters are the perfect size for placing
them in your gloves to keep your hands warm.
They only take 20 seconds in the microwave
and they keep them warm all the way to school
and back.

I have also made another hat in the last week.
I loved this hat as it took less than an hour to make.

It's from the Leisure Arts Book

Sumptuous Naturals
With 5 knit projects and 2 crochet
you can't complain at the $3.95 price for the book
or £2.99 for the download.

The hat is called the Starboard Hat

It's amazing what you can create with a needle
and some wool.
I love needle felting but I'm still a beginner.
I love books like this
that teach you everything
you need to know to create the projects.

The book even shows you how to create eyes and nose
with polymer clay.
There are clear step-by-step instructions
with beautifully clear pictures.

The book takes you through each step.
Including everything from preparing wool,
needle felting and other additional techniques.

The book includes the designs for
6 different breeds of dogs;
Cocker Spaniel
Labrador Retriever
Shih Tzu
Border Terrier
Standard Poodle
Pug

I found the book supportive
and helpful.
Whether you are already a needle felter
or you just want to give it a go,
you are sure to find some tricks
to help you on your way.

The tricks and techniques give you the
support to create each one of the dogs.
Everything has been thought of.

Each of the designs includes templates
that help you to choose the right
amount of wool as well as what shape
to needle felt it into.
There are full instructions how to use
different materials to help
shape the dogs and to help them
to stand up.
With the use of pipe cleaners etc.
you can make you dogs
adjustable.

This is a fantastic book.
It has everything you need
to recreate all the breeds in this book.
It's full of helpful hints and tips.
It's a 5 out of 5 for me.

What You Doing Wednesday Week 135

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your week is going well!

Yet again we have been told the snow is
on it's way.
I'll believe it when I see it.

I hope everyone who is suffering from
the awful blizzards in the US
is okay.

I only have one crochet make that I have
been working on this week;

I have finally got around to learning
broomstick lace.
I was so surprised how easy it was.
I can't wait to finish it.

I've also made a hat but
you'll have to wait till Friday for that one.
It's a fantastic quick and easy pattern.
It only took me less than an hour to make.

I've also been testing some really cute
and fantastic felt bookmark patterns
for my Friend Mel from Storybook Felts
But you'll have to wait till Friday to see them ;-).

So hopefully this Friday will be very exciting.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work

by Sachiyo Ishii
ISBN: 9781782210689
Publisher: Search Press
Publication Date: 12 December 2014
RRP: £8.99

I am a huge fan of Sachiyo's designs.
Not only are the designs amazing, cute
and beautiful they are also easy to knit.

She takes basic techniques
and makes them into the special
and amazing animals and designs.

As you can see from the above
you get pictures and easy to follow instructions
on how to make the different pieces.
This means you can take a basic shape
and make it into a little cute animal.

The patterns are in easy to follow written terms
with full instructions of how to put
each piece together to make these fantastic things.

The thing I think is most amazing is the fact
that not only do you get the patterns for all the animals.
This includes both the adults and baby animals.
You also get the patterns for the forest floor, tree stump, tree,
mushrooms & toadstool house.

I love this book!!!
I love all of Sachiyo's books.
Her designs are fantastic and attainable
for most knitters.
She makes you feel confident that you can
make something.

It's a 5 out of 5 for me!

Jersey Yarn Creations ~ Book Review

20 Projects to Knit & Crochet
by Alexandre Callier-Taylor
ISBN: 9781782212164
Publisher: Search Press
Publication Date: 05 December 2014
RRP: £7.99

Available direct from Search Press

I have to admit I've never worked with jersey yarn.
I don't know why.
This book will certainly change your mind.

It shows just how this yarn can be so versatile for
both knitters and crocheters.

Jersey Yarn is also called t-shirt and fabric yarn.
It's an amazing yarn to work with as it works up so fast.
In no time you can have your project finished
and brightening up your home.

The book starts with a beginners guide on
how to crochet and how to knit and then moves
onto all the different projects you can make.

The projects are varied,
whether for your home, you or your pet.

I love the vibrant use of colours.
You could use colours to match
your home or add that zing and make
something bright and contrasting.

If you like a quick fix project
then you'll love the patterns in this book.
In no time you can have a fantastic project.
Which do you think you would make?
