I've Made Friday Week 128

Good Morning everyone!

I hope your week is going well
and you are looking forward to the weekend.

I haven't got anything made this week
but I thought I would show off the
decorations we've put up.

Benji isn't happy that I have put snowflakes on his window.
I've collected 9 snow globes now.
I got a new one this year and I love all of them.

We have been hiding the elves again.

We have a few traditions at Christmas:
Elf on the shelf - ours just hides when he comes back from Santa.
A new Christmas book each year.
We only get the Christmas books out on the 1st December so they are exciting.
This years is an advent calendar.
Each day you open a small book and read a bit more of the story of
the birth of Jesus.
Once they have been opened they hang on the Christmas tree.
We always make or buy a new decoration each year.
This means that every decoration has a story behind it.
I even have mine from when I went to America when I was 12.
On Christmas eve Santa drops 1 present on his way past.
The present holds new pj's, slippers & a dressing gown
so Little Red looks all nice for Christmas morning.
Stockings that can be opened when you wake up
and then presents downstairs once everyone is awake.
In the afternoon when things are quiet
Santa drops off a parcel he forgot to deliver.
Who ever is in the house at the time gets a present.
The presents are all silly and fun.
It was started by my Grandad.
He would go the toilet downstairs, run round the back of the house,
ring the doorbell and run back again.
Flush the loo and come in panting saying
oh who was at the door.
We always get a boardgame and everyone has to play.
Little Red also always gets books.

I'm really excited about Christmas.
I think this year Little Red will be even more excited.
Previously I have had to wake him up.
On the 1st he woke up at 3am asking if he could open his calender.
He was told to go to sleep.

I hope you are all having a good week
and I can't wait to see what you've made.

Now it's time for linky love.
