At Christmas I sometimes find it hard to find that special something
for some of my older relatives.
Previous to learning to Crochet I used to spend months trying to come
up with ideas that I always felt weren't just right.
Now I can crochet beautiful items like this make my
gifts so much more special!
The pattern is crocheted using bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10)
and sizes 8 (1.50 mm) and 12 (1.00 mm) steel crochet hooks.
Items Required for Pattern:
Bedspread Weight Cotton Thread (size 10)
[approximately 400 yards per ball]:
White - 1 ball
Embroidery floss:
MC (Pink) - 1 skein
CC (Green) - 1 skein
Steel crochet hooks, sizes 8 (1.50 mm) and
12 (1.00 mm) or sizes needed for gauge
Polyester stuffing
Tapestry needle
Finishing materials:
Stiffening solution,
paper
towels,
plastic wrap,
ironing board,
plastic foam
cone,
rust-proof pins,
and glue
