Good Morning!
October is rushing past soo fast!
The weather has been awful in the UK.
Lots of rain and wind.
It's meant to warm up a little as the week progresses
so I am looking forward to that.
Our lollipop lady Joyce often used to say to her husband
that it always rains when she is about to go out
to cross the children at school time.
He used to say she was imagining it.
He is off sick at the moment and he can't believe
just how right she was.
Sometimes it's within 5 mins of us having to go out
and it will start raining.
To be honest we've been so lucky with the weather this year
I don't mind a bit of rain.
I do hope we get some crisp cold mornings.
I love a proper cold morning with the sun shinning.
I'm in the process of getting everything ready for Halloween.
I've started setting up a few things.
I've got tea stained paper and envelopes drying at the moment.
The spiders are on the window:
I've added the Chamber of secrets message to the mirror:
And I've put some coloured water in some bottles
ready for their labels:
I need to make some eyeballs and mini snakes
to go in the jars.
I'm in the middle of making the cauldron:
I've also got a quick make this week.
My niece needs a pumpkin hat for her Halloween outfit.
I wasn't sure how much I had left in my pimpkin colours
so I made 2 in different styles:
As you can see I just need to put them together now.
I'm reading another Vera Stanhope book so I should have the review
for you on Friday.
Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
