Good Morning everyone.
I hope your week is going well.
This last weekend was amazing!
As it was our anniversary last week we decided
to celebrate at the weekend.
Hubby took Friday off work and took Little Red out.
They went and watched the latest Transformers film.
They both loved it and I loved the peace.
I love Little Red but he does waffle a lot about minecraft.
The peace and quiet was brilliant and I managed to finish
off my shawl, pictures on Friday :-).
On Saturday morning we visited Martin Mere.
I took some pictures so I'll do a separate post about that :-)
It's fantastic as everything is on the flat and there are
loads of benches.
Little Red loves going and loves feeding
all the birds.
Then Little Red went off to Nana's for the night.
We went out for a meal.
It was fantastic!
I started with melon and port and then had
fillet steak with bacon, mushroom & a red wine sauce.
Hubby had muscles in a cream sauce with smoked salmon
and the same main meal.
We then had a lovely lie in on Sunday
and then off to pick off Little Red.
He wanted to go to a restaurant so
decided to treat him.
We went to the coast to coast restaurant.
It was a lot more expensive than we thought it would
be but the food was really good.
Little Red had burger and chips,
hubby had a baby rack of ribs with bbq sauce.
I had chicken breast with bacon and cheese melt with
bbq sauce.
Our Presents to each other:
My mum made me a card and my mum and dad gave us
a beautiful tin of biscuits:
I had some good/bad health happenings.
On of the vertebrae in my neck has stuck out slightly for over 10 years.
It aches every so often and I often get migraines starting from it.
It wasn't me just imagining it, hubby often said it was weird
and when I went for acupuncture they said I needed it realigning.
Anyway I was massaging it the other day and there was
a sudden clunk! It popped back into place.
It was amazing. That was the good news.
The bad news was within a couple of days the tissue around swelled up.
This has trapped the nerve in my neck.
I am still really happy about it even with all the pain.
I know when the swelling goes down it will be fine
it's just very painful in the meanwhile. This has meant less makes.
I have got one thing I'm making:
I started it off thinking I was going
to make a rug but I think it may end up being a blanket
for Benji.
When we sorted out the back garden we found his plastic bed
that he had in his kennel.
Benji destroyed the kennel by sitting on top of it till it collapsed.
I cleaned it up and put it behind the couch, which is his favourite hiding spot.
He has really enjoyed it whilst it's been hot as the plastic has stayed cool.
Now we are coming into Autumn (it arrived early in the UK)
I thought a nice blanket in it might be nice for him.
Whilst I've not been able to do anything I've been doing some thinking.
I'd heard that Facebook had been getting more and more access
to things on phones so I decided to take a look.
When you install the app you get the permissions button you have to accept.
I don't know about you but I don't really read them.
I decided to read them but it said "other".
Anyway looking further in the app you can see the full permissions.
I was shocked!!!
Device & app history, Identity, Contacts/Calender, Location, SMS, Phone, Photos/Media/FIles, Camera/Microphone, Wi-Fi Connection Information. Device ID & Call Information, Other - if you take a look at other it says prevent phone from sleeping, change your audio settings, read google service configuration, full network access, change network connectivity, connect & disconnect from Wi-Fi, read sync settings.
I am disgusted!
I have instantly deleted it from my phone.
There is part of me would like to remove myself from the program as well
but being disabled it can be isolating and it's a good way to connect with people.
It does get you thinking about what permissions you are giving for companies
to access you life.
Someone said well if you've nothing to hide.
It's not that, I don't want a company I have no control of having
access to all my data.
I've had some fun this week.
I decided to read the Harry Potter Books again.
I'm really enjoying it.
I forgot just how much is missed in the films.
Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
