Pocket Volcano - Product Review

by 4M

I love getting science projects with Little Red!
This is a fantastic one as he can either do it with me
or it's safe enough to do on his own.

For such a small little item you can have loads of fun with this!!

In the one little package you get the volcano and all the instructions you need.
Just add baking powder (soda) and water or vinegar.

Once you've unwrapped your volcano you find that underneath
there is a small cap to undo.

You fill this with the baking soda and attach it again.
You can always put it in from the top but we found it easier this way.
Attach it back onto the volcano and then all you need to decide
is where you are going to set it off.

First we set ours off in the sink.
Little Red added a small amount of vinegar and off it went!
He got soo excited, hence the blurry picture :-).
Once it's finished it was just a case of rinsing out the sink
and the volcano and your set to go again :-).

It's not very easy to tell but we added more baking soda and then placed
it in the bottom of Little Red's bath.
He loved the fact that he could play with it in the bath!
All the bubbles rose up to the surface.

It's safe to use in the bath or just place it in a glass of water
so kids can see what's happening close up.

This is a great fun science project!
It's also small enough for you to be able to take
anywhere with you.
Just don't forget the baking soda!

I received the product to review.
