I love the way lace can look when knitted.
The designs that can be created
are amazing.
The book is packed full of beautiful designs.
At the start the different techniques are explained
and there are clear pictures where needed.
The patterns cover many different levels so no matter
what you level you should find something to make.
The basic part of the pattern starts in written format
but the main lace design is in chart format.
There are just so many patterns packed into this book!
They would make fantastic gifts from friends and family.
There is something special about giving a scarf or shawl.
Knitting these will be a pure joy and they joy will be
passed to whoever receives the project.
The book includes: shawls, stoles, scarves, and triangles.
Along with the patterns for 16 projects,
the authors share a wealth of lace-making knowledge
and techniques gained over decades of plying their needles.
If you want to knit lace style garments then this book
is a good one to add to your collection.
A fantastic mix of designs!
