I've Made Friday Week 115

Morning everyone.
I hope you are all having a good week.

Autumn has set in.
The weather is cold and wet.
It's been nice snuggling up on the couch
with my little man.

We've watched some of the Harry Potter films.
Read some books and generally had a lazy week.

I am super excited!
I have finished my

I loved making this shawl.
It's the perfect size to wear as a neckerchief.
In fact I'm wearing it at the moment :-)

I actually feel like a knitter now.
I now say I crochet & knit :-).

I also finished my tea cosy

Summer may have finished but hopefully
this will brighten up my Gran's birthday.

Number One son has now asked me to make a
"boys" tea cosy.
He reckons a transformers would be a good theme.

I finished listening to The Cuckoo's Calling
by Robert Galbraith
I really enjoyed this book.
This is the first in the Cormoran Strike series.
Cormoran was injured whilst being in the army.
He has lost a leg and now he is setting up his own business.
It and him aren't doing well but this case
is the one that sets him off on his and Robyn's journey.
His temp assistant helps in the case and she finds herself.
His case is an apparent suicide but her brother
wants him to investigate it.
He suspects it's murder.
I really enjoyed the story and the characters.
I did have a few niggles but these didn't stop me from
enjoying the story.
I would give the book 4 out of 5
