Good Morning everyone.
I hope your week is going well.
Wow it's been a week of ups and downs!
Hubby has ordered a new shed and booked a week off work.
We've ordered a skip and am going to clear out the junk.
We currently have 2 sheds that are falling to pieces.
We also have a kennel area that we built for the dog.
Now I'm not able to work we don't put him in it so we are
going to re-design the garden.
We are going down to one shed and possibly getting
a trampoline for Little Red.
Hubby is going to take the week to get everything sorted.
It's an exciting to the Summer Holidays.
Little Red only breaks up from school this Friday.
Little Red's birthday is coming up so I've
spent a lot of time deciding what to get him for his birthday.
I also have ordered some books to work on whilst
he is off school.
We also have some science experiments to work
on over the summer.
I always get him something to do that's fun
but educational at the same time.
I'll be showing you loads more over the summer hopefully.
I finally got rid of my chest infection to then catch a UTI.
Finally cleared that and got a stomach infection.
I'm hoping I'm getting everything out of the way
before the summer holidays.
I'm still making the shawl for my gran.
It isn't perfect. They aren't mistakes as such
they are just where the stitches are looser than the rest.
I'm loving the look of the shawl!
The colour is soft and pretty.
I have also used a double knit yarn so it will keep
her shoulders warm.
The pattern is from the book
Shawls, Wraps & Ponchos
It's called the sideways shawl.
I'm reading
Inferno by Dan Brown
This book has really got me thinking.
It is all about the expanding population of the world.
It shows how it is going at a huge rate and when the world
can't take it anymore........
I decided to look up the subject online and there are
a lot of groups and people who believe the world will
reduce the population by it's own means when it gets so huge.
They say that the new diseases that can't be cured and don't
react to antibiotics, the storms, floods etc.
are the worlds way of reducing the population to a manageable rate.
It's a very scary thought but you can see why people think that.
As some of the sites say if the population keeps growing and growing
there will be some point when the world just can't provide the amount
of food and water to sustain that level.
It got me to thinking about what I want out of life.
My dream would be to own a small holding.
Hubby grew up working on a pig farm so he wouldn't have
any issues bringing up animals to feed.
Between the two of us I am sure we would build a brilliant life.
It's just a pipe dream but it would be a wonderful
dream if it came true.
Anyway that's enough of that deep thinking!
Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
