Before you pick up this book know

that it isn't just a pattern book.

It's so much, much more!

This book does give you many beautiful patterns to make

but it also shows and teaches you how to 

create your own designs.

It shows how you can find a design from something,

simplify it so that you can recreate the essence of the design.

You get a swatch to show you how the design is implemented

and a chart form so that you can replicate the design.

I cannot even describe the amount of designs you get.

The way the book is set out is fantastic.

You could spend hours just looking at all the different designs,

never mind using them to make beautiful projects.

 

Elsebeth then uses the amazing designs to put together

some amazing patterns for you!

 

There is a fantastic mix of patterns and each is amazing in it's own way.

They would make fantastic gifts for friends and family.

 

I have already spent hours just looking at the book

and the only problem I have is which to make first.

It is amazing what Elsebeth has written with her vast knowledge.

I am also sure that the techniques could be utilized to other

crafts.  So even if you don't knit you will still get so much from this book.

I would give this book 5 out of 5.
