Confession time:

I have never previosly made a doily.

However I think it's time to have a go.

I want to make something pretty for my Gran.

She is 93 years old and it would be perfect for her chest of draws

in her bedroom.

I love the idea of making all my gifts as I think it adds

that special dimension to a gift.

Just looking at the doily you can tell just how special it it.

The pattern is in written format and includes the pattern

for the coaster.

Who would you make one for?
