What You Doing Wednesday Week 101

I hope your week is going well!

Wow what an amazing week!
As you know it was my 40th birthday last week.
I had a fantastic day!!!
I stayed upstairs in bed for the 1st time in ages
(I sleep downstairs as it's easier with my disabilty).
Little Red said I had to sleep in the bed so he could bring
me breakfast in bed.
Which he did :-).
I then received my wonderful presents,
some wonderful wool tops that I could use with my spinning wheel.

My spinning wheel is set-up in the living room so I don't have to move it.
I can just spin when ever I'm up to it.

We went out for dinner and had a fantastic lunch.
Little Reds eyes were bigger than his stomach.
Daddy ended up having to eat most of it.

My mum, dad & gran came round for tea.
As you can see Little Red was very excited.

In-between everything I managed to get some spinning done
on the Thursday and Friday.
For my first time at spinning on my wheel I am super proud.
I've found my way of spinning and it seems to be working.
My next time is even better :-)

My fantastic talented up-cycler friend
send me a beautiful journal book
to keep all my memories in.

She sent me loads of other stuff but I'll show that off
in the coming weeks.

Then on Friday after Little Red finished school
we went to Rhyl for a weekend away with my mum and dad.
Unfortunatley the first night was freezing cold.
I actually thought I might shiver to death.
Luckily the next day the temperature warmed up and the sun came out to great us.
We had a fantastic time!
We took Benji with us and he loved getting taken for loads of walks.
My parents were brilliant and took Little Red and Benji out
quite a bit for us.
My fantastic husband also did loads with Little Red.
We went down to the beach and collected some shells.
Hubby and Little Red went swimming a couple of times.

We had a fantastic time!
The only downer was Little Red managed to get a chemical burn
when he went into the swimming pool.
It was so sore!!!
Luckily it's starting to calm down.

As you can imagine this week has been hectic.
I've also had to rest a lot more as so much has been going on.
I have however got a number of projects on the go.

My Rabbit pieces are coming along nicely.
I'm hoping to have more time to spend on it over the next week.

This pattern is by Jo's Crocheteria
It should hopefully look like this:
Easter Bunny of African Flowers - Crochet Pattern

I've started designing a rose cowl

I'm also designing a baby hat

And I'm making my first Boshi Hat

I haven't read any more of my book
so you'll have to wait for that one.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work
