As you know I have recently started my sewing journey.
As part of this journey I am trying to expand my knowledge and techniques.
As a beginner I am especially interested in books
that can help me learn from start to finish.
As you can see this book is ideal!
I can't find anything that isn't covered that I will need to know.
As you can see there are clear pictures and instructions to every stage easier.
Everything is covered step-by-step so you can understand what you need to do
with any project.
I especially love the fact I can use these techniques with my crochet designs.
With each item and project covered you can put all the information together
to create that perfect project.
With each section and each part of a project covered there
are multiple ways and multiple instructions.
They explain all about collars so you know you have everything to hand
and don't have to keep getting different books out
for different instructions.
The thing I love about each section covered is at the end of reading and following
the section you feel confident that what you are doing is right.
Even if you are a confident sewer this is still a handy technique book to have at hand.
If you aren't sure how to do something then you can find it in here.
With so much covered it's a book you'll want to use time and again.
For beginners like me everything is new and interesting.
For sewers it has all the information and instructions for you to add
that extra embellishment to your project.
it gives you the confidence to finish a project with a professional look.
I'm amazed by the amount that is covered.
I am also amazed by the amount of detail.
My favourite section is the hand embroidery section.
This is something I am just learning and loving every minute of.
I love that any project/gift can be made extra special
by a special individual bit of embroidery.
Quilting has always seemed like a different language.
I haven't been around anyone that has quilted but I think
with this book I have the confidence to give it a go.
I love just how much is covered with this book!
I mean it even has needle felting in it.
I already needle felt but must admit I haven't used it for embellishments
yet!!!!!
I think this is something I'm going to start doing.
Now all I need to decide is which project I start with :-).
I really think this book is fantastic value for money.
There are sooo many uses for everything that is covered in the book.
Why don't you start adding that little something to your projects?
I received a free copy of the ebook to review.
