This book has been created to throw out the traditional thoughts about Lace Knitting.
You don't just have to use fine yarns on small needles.
It doesn't have to be tedious it can be a lot of fun.
The book is written in a lesson format so as you learn each skill
you have a project to learn that skill on.
The learning curve, technical tips and beginners section teach you
everything you need to know to make these beautiful projects.
The array of scarves and shawls gives you everything you need to know
whilst making easy but beautiful projects.
The use of variegated yarns gives them a beautiful mix of colours
with each giving them their own feel and look.
Cheryl Potter is a talented colourist who uses her knowledge to find
beautiful yarns that add that something extra to each project.
With each project you get everything from the background of the design.
The details of the yarn that is used to make the project.
You learn how to make a swatch then everything is introduced
to make the project including such things as blocking.
The patterns are in chart format and each part of the pattern
is explained including hints and tips to help you are on your way.
Although you are learning the techniques I think you will have to
be a knitter pre book.
I don't feel it's for a beginner knitter but it is for a beginner to Lace Knitting.
Even if you've tried lace knitting previously I think this book has a lot to offer.
Just learning the different techniques and the tips that will help
are worth purchasing the book for.
I love the array of the projects and the way that different weights and colours of yarn
are used.
This has to be my favourite it is just so beautiful.
I love the way the design work and the fact that it can make an outfit
look all that more special.
If it's something you want to try then you won't be disappointed.
I received a copy of the eBook to review.
