There are so many times when "children" get forgotten when it comes
to crochet patterns.
This book changes the tide.
The book is unique as it concentrates on children aged 6 - 12 years old.
The designs are fun and interesting and can be altered
to match any clothing colour mix.
As well as the 28 fantastic designs the book goes into detail so even a new
crocheter can have a go at the projects.
Everything is discussed from sizing, choosing yarn, gauge & blocking.
They discuss and show you everything from hints & tips, special techniques
and the basic stitches.
The pictures are clear and easy to understand as well as
clear and easy to read instructions.
Each of the patterns include sizing guides to make it easier
for you to make to the correct size and to block to the right size.
All of the patterns are fun and interesting and you can easily alter them
so they can be longer or you can add more embellishments.
There are more patterns for girls but there are patterns for boys included.
Some of the patterns match and can be used together.
They can be made to match in colour or as clashing colours
to make a statement.
The book gives you different ideas of how the projects can be worn.
They also give you different close up shots so you can see
different key parts of the project.
Overall I am very pleased with this book!
The patterns are varied and interesting.
They are fun and I am sure that most children between 6 and 12 yrs old
would be pleased to wear them.
There are a few I already have on my to do list for Little Red.
I am sure if you have children or want to make something for children
between these ages, you will find a fantastic gift.
I received the book to review.
However all opinions expressed are my own.
