Row 84)        1 sc dec, 1 hdc dec, *1 sc, 1 hdc* x 2, 1 hdc dec, 1 sc dec, finish (8)

Turn the cowl around. You are now going to be crocheting on the other-side of the starting chain.
Row 1)         *1 sc, 1 hdc* x 12, ch 1, turn (24)
Row 2 -5)    repeat rows 81 - 84

Now you need to fold the collar over and pin into place.

Fold more over on the middle approximately 6-7 stitches and then less at the edges to form the collar. This can be easier on a dummy or around someone's neck.

Once you have the collar where you prefer sew the collar into place.

You now need to add a hidden button. I added mine about 2 stitches in on the bottom collar and 13 rows up. You can pick the place you prefer.

On the reverse of the top layer of the cowl join yarn with a slip stitch and chain 7 (if you are using a larger button you may need to crochet more chains). Finish.

Your cowl is now finished :-)
