#Wellies at #Welly Warehouse ~ #Product #Review
Well if you live in the UK the whole of the winter
has been wet!
It seems like forever since we've seen the sun!
Having all this rain got me thinking about my footwear.
Normally I wear a pair of walking shoes as they are sturdy.
The big problem with these is when it's wet they don't really
offer much cover to keep me dry.
It was during this time that I got to thinking about the last time I wore
a pair of Wellies.
I realized that I haven't worn them since I was a child.
It was then I got to thinking why and I couldn't
come up with any reasons.
I have a 7 year old son and we always purchase him a pair
of wellies - it's a must at this age!
But why don't most adults wear them?
They are practical, you can get them in all sorts of designs.
They are trendy and they keep you a lot dryer than any other footwear
(well maybe not waders but they aren't practical for everyday use).
Previously we had bought Little Red from a local supermarket.
They were super cheap but within 2 wears they were leaking.
The quality wasn't fantastic and they really weren't up to the job.
Now the wellies from Welly Warehouse were completely different.
As soon as you look at them you can tell they are good quality
and you know you can trust them to keep you dry.
Now the best way to test out a welly is to get out there and splash in muddy puddles :-)
Little Reds boots are a good height and as they come up slightly higher
than other wellies we've tried they keep more dryer and
his clothes less muddy.
Little Reds Wellies have a good lining that makes
sure that your feet aren't going to get wet and they feel
comfy whilst you are wearing them.
He loved his new wellies and has taken them to
Granny and Grandads to jump in lots more puddles.
Apart from when he is at school he hasn't
stopped wearing his wellies :-).
What he loved even more was the fact that Mummy
could now join in.
It's amazing how much fun it can be joining in
with you child and having fun in puddles.
The first day they came I got a good use out of them.
Instead of coming home with trousers that are soaking wet
at the bottom I came home nice and dry.
They feel a good quality and they feel like they are going to last a long time.
I also can't wait to try them in snow as I am sure they are going to give
me a lot better traction so I won't find it as difficult.
Now I've got my pair of wellies I can't understand
why I haven't had a pair before now.
What's the point in getting wet when you don't need to?
I may even get some more to match different outfits ;-).
Black Zip Welly
I struggle getting shoes and boots on and off
but these have a zip in them so you can open them up more,
making it easier to get them on and off.
