How Many Planets Circle the Sun? - Book Review

How Many Planets Circle the Sun?

Published by Sterling Publishing

RRP: £4.99

Little Red love books about space and planets.
I love books that he can enjoy and he learns something at the same time.

The book is full of amazing pictures to illustrate everything that is being said.

I'm not sure the age range this book is being targeted at.
I think it's a bit too old for Little Red who is 7 years old.

There are a lot of facts in the book and they are written in a format
that children can understand.
I learnt a lot of facts myself.

If your child is covering space or the earth at school
then this would be a fantastic book!
It covers everything they made need to know.
You learn about:
How many planets circle the sun?
What holds our solar system together?
Which planet has the shortest year?
Which planet in our solar system is the hottest?
Why is there life on Earth?
Why are there footprints on the moon?
Are there volcanoes on Mars?
How wide is the Asteroid Belt?
Which planet in our solar system is the biggest?
How did Saturn get its rings?
Which planet used to be named George?
Which planet has a cloud named Scooter?
What are dwarf planets?
Are there glowing snowballs in space?
Are there other planets beyond our solar system?
Compare the planets
Find Our More

The writing is big and clear which makes it easier for children to read.
The facts are ones that children would be interested in.
I can't express how amazing the pictures are.
Little Red keeps picking the book up just to look at the pictures.
I think this is one we'll be using a lot once he is a bit older.

I received the book to review.
