Doodling for Papercrafters ~ Book Review

Doodling for Papercrafters
Available in eBook & Book format from LeisureArts.com

I have recently been drawn to to drawing and decorating.
We use computers so much that I think we've forgotten
how things can be made more beautiful by hand.
This book helps you and shows you how something
can be made amazing by just giving you the tools.

As you can see from this page the book gives you so much
to help you to add that something to your projects.

The book talks you through all the different tools you can use.
Everything from pens to coloured pencils to stencils.

The doodling is split into sections.
In each section you are given doodles to practice and use and then
you are given examples of how they can be used.

With each doodling that is used you also get an explanation as to how
it's been used so you can use the methods for your own projects.

I love how different images have been added
to by the doodles.

Everything from dots, circles & swirls are used
to just give the look of the project something extra special.

Not only can you use the doodles for adding to cards & pictures
you can also use them for decorating clothes and other items.

Or how about using other materials with the doodles
to give it a special unique look.

I love the way they use different shapes to give that extra
bit of feeling to a photo.

To celebrate world book day
and to use some of the techniques I found in this book
I decided to make a display picture.

I loved making it!
It's only very basic at the moment but I can't
wait to spend more time using the skills in this book
to make pictures and projects that extra special.

You can also use the doodles if you like to Zentangle.
They would be perfect for different designs.

With nearly a hundred pages of doodles and different ways
to use them you will be sure to find many things you want to use.
I love this book!
I can't wait to use them more and more.
