I've Made Friday Week 96

I hope you've all had a good week & are looking forward to the weekend!

This week seems to have rushed by!
My CFS has been playing up quite a bit
but it's alright I've found some other
fun things to do whilst I give time to my body to recover.

It's raining in England!!!
Luckily we aren't flooded because we are quite high up,
in the north and don't live anywhere near a river.
It's awful seeing all the people that have lost
everything to the flooding.

I hope everyone in the US isn't suffering too much with the snow!
It looks very cold!!!

I've got a mixed bag for you this week.

As you know earlier in the week I reviewed The Beauty of Zentangle
well we caught the book.
I put my slant on it as I prefer to use pencil
and I also prefer to keep it quite structured.
This is what I've been up to so far:

I'm really enjoying it!
I know I could probably make more of an impact
with pen but I'm a pencil loving person.
I purchased a tin of varying pencils so I can get
loads of different effects.
I just have to remember to colour in from the top down.
The first picture I ended up with pencil all down my hand :-).

It even inspired Little Red to have a go:
I am so proud of him.
He is growing up and thinking about what he is doing more.
I loved his picture.

I really enjoyed it and loved what I made.
I've not decided if I am going to keep it for myself
or give it to a friend or relative as a present.

I also managed to finish the Springtime Bonnet

I made the bonnet in 3 different sizes:
0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months.
as it's a 100% cotton but still soft.
It's good for babies as there isn't a risk
of them being allergic to it.

The pattern will be coming soon!
As soon as it's available you'll be the first to know.

I've finished a BOOK!
I've been reading one book but it's from a series
that you can purchase for a fantastic price on kindle:

So for the price of $0.99 or £0.74
you can get 9 books.
It's cheaper than the price of one of them.
I've just read:
The Halo Effect
by M J Rose
The story is about a therapist that has a client
that is a high class prostitute.
Dr Morgan Snow receives her a manuscript
detailing things she has been doing with
some highly influential men.
Cleo goes missing and as Morgan can't give anyone
the information from their sessions
she decides to investigate herself and she if
she can solve the mystery.
She is putting herself at risk as a number of prostitutes
have already been found dead.
The story has loads of twists and turns including
Morgan's personal life.
If you like a good murder mystery and don't
mind it having a bit of sexual content
then it's a really good read.
You find yourself going through all sorts of emotions
as you make your way through the story.
It's a really good read and I can't wait to read the next in the series.
I give the book 4.5 out of 5
