Embroidery Pocket Guide ~ Book Review

Embroidery Pocket Guide

Available in eBook & Book format from LeisureArts.com
Learning to embroider is one of the things
I've always wanted to learn to do.
I decided to bite the bullet and buy a book
that will help me on my way.

This book is a reference guide to the
most popular stitches.
The book gives you step by step picture instructions
to show you how to complete each stitch.
The stitches included are:
Featured stitches are backstitches, blanket stitches, chain stitches,
couching stitches, cross stitches, featherstitches, filling stitches,
running stitches, satin stitches, and weaving stitches

I think in hindsight I should of purchased this in book format.
In the book format you get:
a laminated pocket-size encyclopedia of the most popular stitches and much more.
Approximately 8.5 inches tall by 4.625 inches wide, the guide folds out accordion-style
with information on supplies and stitching tips, plus illustrated stitch guides.
A ruler is printed along the edge for convenience.

Saying that I'm not disappointed with the eBook version and I will
most certainly using it on a regular basis.

Overall this is a very handy book to own
if you wish to embroider.
