If you like Icelandic Knits and you Knit then
you'll really like this book.
With this book you will discover the beauty of Icelandic knitting.
You'll be able to knit your own cardigans, socks, mittens, bags, slippers and much more.
With the book you are able to learn the basics of this knitting style
as well as the more intricate Icelandic techniques.
You will find everything you need to know from knitting in the round
and felting through to shaping sweaters and knitting with beads.
The book also provides lots of helpful tips on how to adapt traditional patterns
to make your own unique designs.
There are lots of colourful step-by-step photos and easy-to-follow instructions,
this book is perfect for the beginner as well as the more advanced knitter.
I just couldn't believe the amount of help the book offers.
Everything from detailed instructions, clear photo's, charts & much more.
I also loved the family feel of the book and the way Gunn
helps you on your way to designing it on your own.
I must admit some of the styles weren't quite right
for me but I am sure with a colour and yarn change
they would look much better.
Not only is the book giving you patterns for all the family
to wrap them up warm is this chilly weather.
You are also getting patterns for accessories.
There are so many useful techniques that the book helps
you master that you are bound to find something
to help you with your knitting.
I know the styles might not be to everyones taste
but over all the book does offer good value for money.
You will get so much out of the book to use with
future knitting projects.
I received a free copy of the book to review.
However all opinions expressed are my own.
