I've Made Friday Week 92

I hope you've all had a good week & are looking forward to the weekend!

We had lots of fun just before Christmas!
The washing machine decided to fall to pieces.
The whole of the parts that keep the seal at the door
completely fell apart.
The whole of the back area got flooded in 2" of water!
My hoover was kept there so we had to get new ones.
The washing machine excites me the most
as the washes are quicker, it's cheaper to run
and I can see exactly how many mins are left on the machine.

I know very sad that I'm super excited by a washing machine.

I've got a couple of things finished this week:
I don't know why the picture is upside down!
This is the Paiyton Cloche
by The Velvet Acorn Shop
this is what it should look like:

I also made a scarflette:
This is from the #free #crochet pattern
by Love City Blog

I haven't finished the cardigan yet so you'll have to wait till next week.

I've Read:

The Santa Shop (The Samaritans Conspiracy - book 1)
by Tim Greaton

The main character Skip Ralstat is a man who is overwhelmed with grief
and despair that his doesn't think his life should carry on.
His wife and child died and he blames himself.
He has lost everything, his home, job, friends and is homeless.
He has lost all hope and is surviving on the streets.
He can't go on any longer and he feels his life should end.
The question is will it?
He hears about a place where people go to commit suicide.
This small town has a bridge that people are drawn to.
Most commit suicide on Christmas Eve.
He makes his way there using every means he can to get
the money to be able to get there.
The small town surprises him and the beautiful friendly people there.
You'll have to read the story to find what happens.
This is an easy read story with a beautiful message.
If you like books that make you feel good in the end
then you'll enjoy this book.
I give it 4 out of 5

  2. Thanks Sue for sharing all the beautiful things you have made. I love the little scarf you made, so pretty! It's nice to have a washing machine that does the wash fast, enjoy! Mine has the fast setting that I use all the time and it makes it so much easier, but I can understand how it makes you happy. Have a nice weekend. Julie
