Gentle Wave Button Flower

The pattern is in US terms
This pattern is for a button flower. You can use this flower as an accessory to any item. The flower just attaches using a button on your garment. 
Items required 
5 mm (H) hook
5g approximately 10 yards of Chic Cotton Yarn – Stone Heart, available for worldwide delivery from Xena Knits
Stitch marker
Wool needle

Guidelines
At the end of each round just carry on, do not join with a slip stitch unless otherwise marked. 
Mark the start of each round and then move marker as a round is completed.
HK – hook CH – chain SS – Slip Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet

Across – 7cm (2 ¾”)

Gentle Wave Button Flower
5mm (H) hook & Chic from Figgi Yarns
Ch 5 – join with ss to create a ring
Round 1) 12 sc in the ring, ss to join (12)
Round 2) Ch 2 (counts as 1st hdc) 2 hdc in the same st, *3 hdc in ea sc* x 11, ss to the top of the ch 2 to join (36)
Round 3) Ch 1, 2 sc in the same st, *2 sc in each hdc* x 35, ss to join to the 1st sc, finish (72)
