#Deliciously #Healthy #Baking ~ #Book #Review
Available in Ebook format at LeisureArts.com

Well as it's the New Year and some of us
are trying to start the year off being a bit Healthier
I thought this would be a fantastic book to start with.

It has all the recipes that you know and love
plus extra's to get your taste buds going.

What better way to start your year off with!
You can be assured that you aren't going to be eating
artificial additives and preservatives.
Your going to be eating healthy alternatives
that taste even better.

Every nutritious loaf, cake,
and cookie in this timely cookbook is pure, wholesome, and healthy.

There are more than 80 recipes
so there are bound to be some that
you won't be able to resist.

There is everything from
daily and special breads, morning pastries,
cakes, and power cookies.
Straight from the oven of Avner Laskin,
a Le Cordon Bleu-trained baker,
recipes include Caramel-Pecan Buns,
Danish-Style Cheese Pocket & Cherry Pastry,
Indulgent Dark Chocolate Sourdough Bread,
Zesty Roasted Corn & Chili Bread—Ciabatta Style,
Decadent Fig & Goat Cheese Stuffed Bread,
Delicious Whole-Wheat Carrot Muffins,
Happy Honey Rye Cake, Rich Granola & Dark Chocolate Cookies,
Tangy Cranberry & Pistachio Cookies, and more.

I can't wait to make some.
Hubby has seen it and now wants to make some.

There is nothing like Home Baking.
It tastes so much better and you don't
feel guilty after eating it.

My mouth is watering just writing the post!

The main approach to “healthy” in this book will therefore be
the avoidance of the use of processed foods, by using high quality,
fresh ingredients instead.
The book also uses whole-wheat flour extensively.
Where sugar is required the recipes use cane sugar, brown sugar or honey.

I have a list a mile long of different recipes I want to try.
I also love the face that some of the recipes have
been written just for this book, so you aren't
going to find them elsewhere.

The book describes everything from the bakers tools you'll need
to all the different ingredients you will use.
It even details how to start your own sourdough.

Each recipe tells you how many you will make:
MAKES 12 ROLLS
& How long it will take:
Preparation time: 20 min.
Resting time: 1 hr.
Rising time: 1½–2 hr.
Baking time: 20–25 min.

The preparation instructions are very detailed
so you can follow them to get the desired result.

I love this book and I am sure it's one me and my family
will use time and again, whether for daily baking
or bakes for special occasions.
