#Shawls & #Wraps for All #Occasions ~ #Crochet #Book #Review

Book & eBook available at LeisureArts.com

Now it's cold outside I am really into making bigger projects.
I love the versatitlty of a shawl.
My temperature is always all over the place with my CFS.
So for me a shawl is a fantastic piece of clothing.

Shell Shawl

I love the fact you can wear them in the summer
when it gets cooler in the evening.

Stripe Shawl

They also have the versatility to dress up a plain outfit
into a beautiful classic outfit for an evening.

Motif Shawl & Shrug

The designs are diverse and use multiple techniques.
With all the differences there is bound to be
something for just about everyone.

 Lacy Shawl

The patterns are in written terms that are clear and easy to understand.

 Broomstick Lace Shawl

Not only are the patterns included, instructions and pictures
are included to show you the different techniques.
Clear easy to follow pictures are shown to
teach you how to broomstick lace.

I hope I get enough yarn for Christmas because I can't
wait to try my hand at Broomstick Lace :-)

  1. Any chance you could help me with the shell shawl? I have tried every night for the past 4 nights and end up tearing it all appart. I'm get to row 6 and everything seems goofed up. Beginning to want to throw the book and the yarn in the trash. I had a friend buy me this book for my birthday with intentions of helping me since i'm new at reading patterns. I've done scarf and ear warmer patterns, but this is my first shawl. Any tips or advice would be great since my friend abandoned me.

    1. Sorry I haven't replied before. Unfortunately your email address is no reply. I've not had chance to look yet but I will try and look at it on Monday. You can email me at susand1408 at gmail dot com. The other option is to contact Leisure Arts direct. They are usually really helpful.
