Items required
3mm (11) hook or 2.75mm (C) hook
Double Knit (8 ply) White, Black & Orange
Wool needle
Stitch Marker
Stuffing

2” = 7 stitches x 6 rows
Guidelines
HK - hook
CH - chain
SS – Slip Stitch
HDC – half double crochet
2 HDC INC – Increase by 2 half double crochet in the stitch
HDC DEC – Half double crochet decrease. Yarn over hook, through 1st stitch, yarn over hook through, hook through next stitch, yarn over hook pull through. Yarn over hook and pull through all the loops.
DC – Double Crochet
DC Inc – Double Crochet Increase
DC Dec – Double Crochet Decrease
TR – Treble
DTR – Double Treble
Charm x 2
White Yarn & 3mm (6) hook
Ch 7
Row 1) 1 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hk, 4 hdc, ch 2, turn
Row 2 – 5) 5 hdc, ch 2, turn
Row 6) 1 dc inc, 1 tr, 1 dtr, 1 tr, 1 dc inc, finish (leave enough yarn to join the 2 pieces of the charm together)
Hat x 2
Black yarn & 3mm hook
Ch 6
Row 1) 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hk, 3 hdc, ch 2, turn
Row 2) 1 ss, 2 hdc, ch 2, turn
Row 3) 2 hdc, finish (leave enough yarn to attach the 2 parts together & to the hat)
Nose
Orange Yarn & 3mm (11) hook
Ch 3
Row 1) 1 ss into the 2nd ch from hk, 1 ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach the Nose to the charm)
Eyes x 2
Black Yarn & 3mm Hook
Ch 3, ss to join, finish
Making up the snowman:
Black yarn & 3mm hook
To make the mouth you put your hook from front to back and pull a loop of yarn through. You then move to the next hole and put the hook from front to back and pull a loop through the hat and the loop you have on the hook.
Carry on till you make the shape of a mouth
You can use a loop of yarn as the charm\decoration or you can add a mobile phone hoop.
