The Great Christmas Crisis ~ Book Review

The Great Christmas Crisis
Written by Kim Norman, Illustrated by Jannie Ho
ISBN: 9781402786327
Publication Date: 7 Sep 2013
By Sterling Children’s Books

I love Christmas books and even more I love Christmas books
I can share with Little Red.

As soon as you see this book you want to open it.
The hardback cover is colourful and embossed
so each of the characters and items in the picture stand out!
The pictures inspire Christmas.

The pages are of a really good quality and is just so tactile.

The book starts as a poem as Santa is looking
to find out what the problem is.
Samta is on an undercover mission to solve what's going on.
Then the story breaks for some jokes
and then carries on to tell you how Mrs Clause, Santa and the elves
fix the problems and finish in time for Christmas.

This is a super fun story!
It would be fantastic for a child to read this Christmas.

We have started a collection of Christmas books.
We put them away after Christmas and then get them out
on the 1st December.
It means when we get them out each year
they will be special again.
This book will definitely be one that will be
added to our collection.

I received a copy of the book to review.
However all opinions expressed are my own.
No monies were received for this post.

  1. Steve Smallman makes these books called "Santa is coming to..." and it's all different towns, they are really good. Here's the link: http://amzn.to/17TrIQG
You go to all places in your city and your little ones will be like "Mum, look we went there and santa's been there" haha. I think it's important to have a tradition and the idea of Christmas books brought out in December is really lovely. xx
