I Can't Believe I'm Loom Knitting book review

I purchased the book
I Can't Believe I'm Loom Knitting

I Can't Believe I'm Loom Knitting Front Cover
eBook      Paperback

I purchased some knitting looms a while back.
I wanted to have something that Little Red could learn.
Due to his issues with dyslexia etc
he isn't able to learn to crochet yet.
With loom knitting he doesn't really need to remember much
to be able to make a basic hat.

I helped when he got bored but quite a lot of it
was made by him.

I decided to buy the "I can't believe I'm loom knitting" book
so that not only could Little Red make something
so could I.

The book teaches you everything from the basics to different stitches.

As well as the information there are clear pictures to show you each step
of each stitch.

Using the information you are learning it gives you:
3 knit hats with full loom techniques
A 12 square sampler afghan, using a different pattern stitch for each square.
& 14 projects.

The projects include:
Scarves, a tote, gloves, a wrap and a vest.

I Can't Believe I'm Loom Knitting Back Cover

The projects are really stylish and ones that you would want to make.
There is even a candy cane stocking you can make for Christmas.
The only critisim I do have is there is only one pattern
for children (Panda Hat).
Most of the patterns are designed for women.

If you are interested in buying the book it's available at LeisureArts.com
$9.99 for the eBook & $12.95 for the Paperback

I purchased the book myself
& all views expressed are my own.

  1. I think it's great that you have this to share with your son. I've never seen this book. It looks like a good one. I have a loom but haven't used it yet. :)

    1. Thank you. It's a really good book to learn the basics and use them with some good patterns. We haven't made many from the book but planning on making more in the future. You'll have to show us what you make :-)
