I hope you are all having a good week.
Now Little Red is back at school
I'm trying to concentrate on my exciting announcement.
I've finished the snowman:
Isn't he fantastic!!
I can't wait to put him up when we are decorating the house
for Christmas.
I really enjoyed making him.
For the body itself you put 3 strands of yarn together.
It works fantastically as he doesn't fall down
and he keeps his shape.
I would highly recommend this set of patterns.
The instruction are clear. There are pictures when you need them.
The yardage etc is clearly marked so you can calculate
how much yarn you need.
On the snowman only the snowman himself is made with 3 strands at a time.
With some of the other characters a number of colours are worked like this.
The yardage is all explained so this isn't a problem.
I did however also finish the elf but I cheated a little.
I didn't want the elf quite as big as I wanted to sit him
on my mantle piece.
So I only used 1 yarn instead of 3 and just reduced the hook size.
Isn't he fantastic!!!
I really enjoyed making him and the instructions were really easy to follow.
I didn't have any problems and it's even clearly explained how
to create his hair.

I received this pattern free to review.
All views expressed are my own.
I also made some flowers this week:
I've made a few of them but I haven't decided what I'm going to add them to.
The pattern is:
Addenium Crocheted Flower free crochet pattern
by Maya Kuzman
It's a really easy quick pattern to follow.
There are full pictures in the pattern to show you where and what you are doing.
I would of preferred the different stitches to be explained in the pattern
but I emailed Maya and she sent me full instructions.
I enjoyed making the flowers and Maya shows you some
wonderful ways to use the flowers.
I would of liked the leaf pattern to be included as well but that's
just because I love the way it looks with the flowers.
Maya Has some amazing and beautiful patterns available:

I've read this week:
My Boyfriend Merlin by Priya Ardis
The book is currently free on Kindle and it's well worth checking out.
I loved this book!
It's written so teens can read it as well.
The story is based around a girl called Ryan.
Her family have all been killed and she has been adopted by a local family.
She already goes to school with the daughter and son.
She thinks thats the worst in life but more is to follow.
Ryan is a "candidate" and everything changes in her world
when Excalibur returns and is in the stone in London.
The story follows Ryan and the other candidates on their Journey.
The worst of it is she finds out the boy she has just been dumped by
isn't Matt he is really Merlin.
I am giving this book 5 out of 5 and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Now it's your turn to share what you've made this week.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
