What You Doing Wednesday Week 73

I hope everyone's week is going well!

Another confession for you:
We were on holiday last week :-)
I've been scheduling my posts in advance
so I can spend time with Little Red and Hubby.
We had a fantastic time and I'll be posting more about
it over the coming weeks.
We went to Centre Parcs, Whinfell in Cumbria, UK.
We've been quite a few times and are big fans!

Little Red has been working really hard.
We even took some work for him to do when we were away.
We've found it best to break it down into small
10 min sessions throughout the day.
We also mix it up with maths, writing and different
items from some of the books we've been using.
We've also been playing games that help
him with all the different subjects.
I've also started playing fun times table
music in the background whilst he is playing.

We've also ordered him another pair of glasses.
We were very disappointed when we went to the shop.
Little Red had seen the childrens range in
Spec Savers when I went to get my glasses.
He was really excited when he knew he had to wear glasses.
He really really wanted a red lego pair.
No luck at age 7 his head is already too big
for the childrens sections.
We managed to get a star wars pair that weren't
too bad but already they only just fit.
He was sooo disappointed and so was I.
How can they promote a childrens section where
children at the age of 7 can't fit in them :-(.

I'm hoping I'll have the finished pictures of my scarf
on Friday. I haven't got any pictures for you today
so you'll just have to wait and see.

This week I started making things ready for Halloween
I've started making the ghost
This is what the set should look like when finished:
Halloween Crochet Set - Witch, Pumpkin, Ghost, Spider - Cute - Amigurumi - Plushie - Toy - Play Kit - Bulk CROCHET PATTERN No.45

I'm still reading:
Sara Duggan's Hooking for Cash Book

& I am also reading:

Vampires, Banshees & Angels.
You get 4 books for free!
Wow what an offer.
I've only just started reading it so I
don't know what they are going to be like but so far so good!

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.
Please add the pin to your post & check out a couple
of other people that are sharing their work

  1. I have been making many Butterfly stitch slouch hats to sell later in the year. I can't sit idle while the kids were home for the summer, so every chance I got I made one! I think I have 15 or so done now lol

  2. Making hats the past couple of weeks or so. I have discovered the joy of making hats! It's a simple hat made in rounds and has a brim with a contrasting band. I haven't it as a post on my blog, Crochet...Gotta Love It! I have about 15 or 16 made so far. :)
