The Peony Beanie Crochet Hat Pattern
by
Hover Creations
Doesn't it look amazing. I can't decided whether to give it as a present
or keep it myself.
Chanelle has amazing instructions for her pattern.
She even includes tick boxes so you can mark off where you are up to.
She also has beautiful messages at the side of her pattern.
There are pictures for you for each stage of the pattern.
The directions are clear and easy to understand.
The directions are as beautiful as the hat.
I couldn't recommend this pattern highly enough.

I finished my Beaded Poppy Bracelet from August's Inspired Crochet Magazine:
I forgot to show you last week the Stingray I made for Little Red.
As we were visiting Sea Life at Blackpool he wanted a Stingray to take with him.
I used the #free Manta Ray #crochet pattern

Doesn't it look fantastic!
I love the way the trim brightens up the hat.
Little Red loves it.
The instructions are for all size from 0-3months to 3-10years.
I made the 3-10years hat for Little Red.
The gauge and sizing is fully explained. I used 2 balls of DK together to make mine.
Right from the start you get full instructions & pictures for the different things youDoesn't it look fantastic!

Aren't they just sooo cute!
This pattern is just as brilliant as the hat.
Everything is set out wonderfully and everything is explained in pictures
as well as instructions.
The only thing I would say is make sure you find the different parts
of the pattern for the size you are making first.
The sole and the top are split up so that you get everything explained
in pictures.
I loved making them. I think they are so perfect for any
baby girl or boy.
They come in sizes from 0-3months to 9-12months
so you get a good age range in the price of one pattern.
I made these in red as we don't know if my brother's baby is a boy or girl.
I'll probably make another pair once I find out.

This week I read:
Cruel Justice by M A Comley
The story is based around a DI Lorne Simpkins.
It's the first in the Justice Series.
A mutilated, beheaded body is found and DI Simpkins
has to solve the case whilst going through traumatic times
with her family.
The book is well written and the lead character is strong but
still shows her vulnerable side.
The characters interact well and although there is quite a bit
about Lorne and what is going on with her life
the story stays true to the murders.
I loved the way the story evolved. It didn't give too much away too soon.
I would highly recommend this book if you like a good murder.
I give the book
4 1/2 out of 5
You might notice some changes on the blog over the coming months.
I'm reading Sara's book Hooking for Cash.
I've already added a contact form to the sidebar.
Now it's your turn to share what you've made this week.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
is perfect.

DeleteGreat projects! The stingray is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Little Red loved him, thank goodness. Really good pattern to follow. I altered mine slightly as Little Red wanted his eyes and mouth underneath.
