I've Made Friday Week 71

I hope you are all having a good week.

August seems to rushing through even quicker than the rest
of the year.

I've been working with Little Red and he has been working really hard.
We are just working in short spurts
but each min makes a difference.

My gran has been feeling a little better so we managed to get a day out.
The doctors couldn't find what was causing her to be ill.
She is still more confused than normal but that might be
due to the hot weather.
The other day she asked every 30mins if it was time
for her to get changed for bed.
My Auntie Jean stayed at home with her so me, Little Red
Granny & Grandad could go out for the day.
It was a fantastic day out but really paying the price for it!
It was worth it but there is going to have to be lots of resting for
a week at least to recover.

I finished my bag
by
This was a fantastic pattern to follow.
I plan on making more.
The stitch is so effective and the clutch bag is a really handy size.
It's big enough to fit a phone and purse in without feeling too bulky.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
You can make the purse as one colour or change colours as I did.
I love the way Jessyz made the two loops so that they fold down to keep the purse shut.
Jessyz has loads of fantastic patterns for both knitters and crocheters:

I received this pattern free to review.
All views expressed are my own.

I finished my Candy coin purse from August's Inspired Crochet Magazine:
 Doesn't it look fantastic.
I'm going to use it with my folded clutch bag.
The pattern is by Pearl Hegedus

Still working on my scarf and hat.
I'll hopefully have them finished soon!

I've Read:

This is the story of Madison Amber Rose and how she died.
This was a very complicated story.
It brought in too many factors for me.
With vampires, werewolves, parallel universes and pandora's box.
The basic story is good and it's well written.
I just think they went too over board on all the different
things happening in the book.
I give it
3 out of 5

    1. Thanks. It's funny they didn't work as well the other way round but I think they work well together in this format.
