Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are all having a good week
and are looking forward to the weekend.
It's been soooo nice having some sunshine this week.
My CFS doesn't seem to affect me quite as much
when I've had a sunshine fix.
I'm a light machine to combat SAD in the winter.
I'm hoping it will mean that I will have enough to
stop me from catching quite as many infections.
I've started sorting out things to help Little Red
with his Dyslexia.
I bought a fantastic book!
When I was reading it I spent a lot of time
nodding and laughing at the fact they were describing the things
he does so well.
If you have a dyslexic child I would
highly recommend this book.
It describes so many of the symptoms of dyslexia
and gives you so many ways to help your child.
The author has a dyslexic son as well
as being a teacher trained in working with dyslexics.
I will show you some pictures next week
of a few of the things I've already put into practice.
I'm so proud of my finishes this week!!!
Sailor Hat & Scarf set
I finished another square of my Rowan Sampler Afghan
I'm afraid I haven't read any other books than the dyslexia book.
I'll hopefully have more reviews for you next week.
Now it's your turn to share what you've made this week.
Baby Dragon:
Isn't he just soooo cute!!!!
Everyone has seen him has agreed he is just so perfect.
is from:
I can honestly say I have never seen a pattern with so many
clear pictures for you to follow.
Everything is explained so you never have to worry about how things are made.
The pattern is beautifully written and easy to follow.
I think as long as you know your basic crochet stitches you would
easily be able to follow the pattern
I really enjoyed making him and am already planning on making one
for a friends daughter whose birthday is coming up.
If you love making Ami you'll love making this Dragon.
Kristi has many beautiful Ami's in her shop.
Please take a look at her site because she has many more fantastic designs
You can also find Kristi at:
I received a free copy of the pattern to review.
All opinions are my own.
I have also finishedSailor Hat & Scarf set
I loved making this pattern, can you tell?
I ended up making 2 baby sets
& a set for little red.
I even used different weights and colours of yarn.
It's so versatile and the results are fantastic.
The pattern is easy to follow and has clear instructions.
The detail on the hat is clearly explained and pictures are included
for you to follow.
I think I like the white version best and I'm sure I'll make more in the future.
