I've Made Friday Week 60

Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are all having a good week
and are looking forward to the weekend.

I've been a busy bee this week.
Due to my stomach issues etc
I've had to rest quite a bit.
It's meant that I've needed to crochet
to keep my mind off the pain.

I finished my cascading bead shawl.
I really enjoyed following this pattern.
I'd never made any projects with beads before.
The pattern has full instructions so it was really easy to follow.
The pattern has loads of pictures and explanations
to help.
As you can see from the pictures from the pattern
it looks fantastic in different colours

I think it would make a perfect present.
You can use it to brighten up any outfit.
I think it can also really dress up an evening outfit.
I feel so honoured to be given the opportunity to review this pattern.
It is just so special.

I finished my Mad Black Bird hat.
I made the first mouth but the more I looked at it the more
I wasn't sure about it.
So I made a different one.
I hope my brother-in-law likes it.

I bought the pattern:
I enjoyed the pattern but I think I need to work on my Ami's
a bit more.
I couldn't find my safety eyes so had to crochet up my own eyes.
Here is the pattern picture:

 I finished my Badger hat.
Little Red doesn't want googly eyes so
I might alter them to buttons.
I don't know why he doesn't like the eye because
I think they look really good.

I finally finished my fox hat!
Yeah!!!
I really enjoyed making him.
I decided to keep him simple as I think it looks better.
It's been nice to design a few more hats :-)

I've not finished my books yet so you'll have to wait till next week.

Now it's your turn
It doesn't have to be crocheting
anything you've made is more than welcome!
Please try and visit at least 2 other sites
to see what other people have been making.
Can you also put the pin and link to this page
so that we can get more people joining in.
Thanks!

  1. Wow, what a lot of work you've completed. Love all the hats. I bet your brother-in-law loves his angry black bird hat. It's just the sort of thing my husband would like. The shawl is gorgeous and looks like it'd drape beautifully!

I must admit it's difficult when they only give you the delete option.

I would highly recommend the shawl pattern. It was really easy to follow. If I find the right outfit I might get hubby to take some pictures of me wearing it :-)

  8. Ooo, I really like the beaded shawl and now that I know how to knit with beads it's looking like a great option for a holiday gift for my Mom. Thanks for the pattern tip. Great hats! The fox is my favorite.
