What You Doing Wednesday Week 27

I can't believe it's the last Wednesday
of September already!!!!!

Where has the time gone?

I need to finish these off but they are nearly there:

This is my mini top hat
I need to stiffen it
and add the lace and feathers
I am thinking this might be an option for my brother wedding

The evening clutch is nearly finished.
It still need the fastener adding.
I used the stitch I learnt from my
first issue of "The Art of Crochet".
Each week you get some yarn and instruction
to make a different square using different stitches.
I am thinking of designing one pattern a month,
if possible. I am going to use what I have learnt
that month from the magazine.
I will have to see how it goes but fingers crossed
there will be more free patterns coming your way.

I'm still reading that book.
I've had problems with the main nerve
on the left hand side of my face.
I would of ripped my face open at one
point if someone had given me a knife.
It's meant that it's been a bit hit and miss as to what I can manage.
Reading has not been on the top of things I'm able to do.
It's eased a lot yesterday some I'm hoping I'll get back to normal soon.

Now it's your turn to share what you are doing.
It doesn't have to be crochet, anything you are making
or reading is perfect.

    1. Thanks. I am planning on using a pva, water mix. I just need to make the stand to keep the hat in shape first. I am going to make it out of cardboard and cover it in clingfilm.

  2. Thank you for hosting the What-You-Doing-Wednesday-Week! I am actually working on something as a gift for a friend's wedding. It took so long until I figured out what could be a good crochet gift for both of the couple. I am surprised too how time flies...This year of 2012 just passes too fast...

  5. Love the top hat! I am working on putting kits together for my most popular pattern...Crochet Reversible Baby Blanket! Everything you need to crochet your own. Some with yarn and some without, for those who like to pick out their own colors!

Happy hump day to you and all your followers!

  6. I can't believe it's almost the end of the month either. Where does time go? Haven't had as much time to do the meme's lately, superpoints and swagbucks takes some time, plus been working more. Fall is ok, but we all know what follows and that I'm not a fan of.
